About me

My name is Alberto Pérez. I am a native of Cienfuegos, Cuba. I currently reside in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. At the beginning of my 30, I embarked for the United States in search of new opportunities. In Cuba, I studied Agricultural Mechanization, Accounting, and a Bachelor degree in economics at Carlos Rafael Rodríguez University. Approximately seven years of residence in the USA, I entered the College of Southern Nevada, and four years later at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In both educational institutions, I achieved associate in business and bachelor degree in accounting diplomas. Later in 2023, I accomplished a MBA diploma online with emphasis on business development and management at Sagrado Corazón University, Puerto Rico. I accomplished most of my professional development as a full or part-time worker. While in Cuba, I worked as a mechanic aid of agricultural equipment and machineries, and locomotives of diesel engines. Few years later as a teacher of mathematics, basic computing, and chemistry in both middle and high schools levels. I also performed as a coordinator of computer science student internships at college level equivalent, among other part time jobs. While in North America, I have worked mostly in the service area. I have performed as a driver for a rental car company, housekeeper and casino porter for Hotels and Casinos, custodian and security for public schools, and independent contractor for Uber Technologies. Since 2022, I have been working in the life and health insurance industries, expanding to notarization of documents and tax preparation services.
